Travel InformationDriving Directions Directions to the Hyatt Newport are available at the hotel web site. Air Travel Newport, Rhode Island is conveniently reached from two major airports. The closest airport is T. F. Green Airport (PVD), which is located in Warwick, Rhode Island (just outside Providence, Rhode Island). The airport is about 28 miles from the hotel conference site and can be reached directly by domestic flights from numerous points of origin, including after entering the US from overseas destinations. Several ground transportation options are available from T. F. Green. All the major rent-a-car companies can be found at T.F. Green as well as bus and shuttle service. The Hyatt recommends Cozy Cab Airport Shuttle at 401-846-2500. The service is about $28 each way and can be booked directly through the company or by the Hyatt. Driving directions from the airport are available at the hotel link given above. The second closest airport is Logan Airport (BOS), Boston, MA, which is served by a large number of domestic and international carriers. The trip from Boston is about 74 miles. A taxi from Logan airport to Newport, RI, would cost about $260, so the best transportation option from Logan to the conference is rental car. Alternative transport is by bus ($26.10 one way, about 3 hours). If you drive from Logan please follow the following directions to Route 93. Exit from Logan airport via the Ted Williams tunnel (0.3 miles; toll). Look for the I-93 South exit from the tunnel (2.8 miles). Do not get onto the Mass Pike. I-93 South bears right to Braintree, and continues as I-93 South, also known as Route 128 South (12.5 miles). Bear left on Route 24 for Fall River (38.5 miles).
